Synopsis
In a bid to halt their falling ratings, a television show crew visits rural Wales to investigate claims of alien abduction. The crew are sceptical about the claims until they come into contact with the aliens and find them to be far from friendly. In order to survive, the crew are forced to arm themselves with machetes, hammers and even a combine harvester in a bloody battle to the death against the aliens.

From The Studio
Scalleum is a remote farming island off the north coast of Wales, only accessible at low tide via a causeway know as the "Devils Spine". The island is also home to an ancient stone circle known as the "Devils Teeth". This provides the sinister setting for the terrifying alien abduction of local farm girl, Cat Williams, and her Hitchhiker boyfriend, Angelo Jones.

"Weird Worlde" is a cable TV program that's having trouble with its ratings. Threatened with losing her job if things don't improve, presenter Michelle Fox (Emily Booth) needs to come up with something special. She puts a team together to investigate the 'Scalleum Incident'. It's an intriguing story with a twist, as Cat Williams's claims to not have just been abducted by aliens, but also impregnated by them! Hence the cynical TV crew accompanied by actors to stage a dramatic reconstruction and UFO expert Gavin Gorman head off to the island. They arrive and experience the weirdness of this remote community, a farm powered by manure and some very twisted Welsh Farmers. The TV crew doesn't believe a word of Cat's story, but Michelle will do anything to save her job even if she has to fake a little evidence.

Tensions rise and things are about to come to a head when, the real stars arrive... Aliens, and they aren't friendly. In fact they are pure Evil! To survive, our eclectic team of characters will have to tool up with whatever weapons they can find, ranging from hammers to machetes, chainsaws to rotary tillers and even a combine harvester! Will they survive the Alien threat? And who will be abducted, mutilated, probed, and decapitated?

3.0 out of 5 stars Completely Potty, 11 Oct 2006
By Green Man Music "green-man-music" (United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
(TOP 1000 REVIEWER)
"Evil Aliens" is the tale of an extraterrestrial arrival on a small island off the coast of Wales, where an investigative TV crew have become trapped.

The team, made up of the sexy, ice-maiden TV presenter (who also turns out to possess a Buffy-esque Kung Fu ability), hunky camera crew, an OTT camp actor, another tagalong vixen, and the obligatory sci-fi geek, make up what plays out as an adult Scooby-Do team in their mystery machine. They are forced to team up with the suspicious and stereotyped inbred local farmworkers in an attempt to defend themselves against the aliens' arrival.

Deliberately below the league of "American Werewolf", "Braindead", and so on, we are clearly in Troma territory here with "Evil Aliens". Indeed, there is much Troma-esque about this film. So if you like silly, sexy, comedy B-Movies, this is probably a good place to park your saucer.

1.0 out of 5 stars The low point of British Horror!, 2 Jan 2009
By J. Ody (Swindon, UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
British Horror's are becoming few and far between, and for the most part the ones that I've seen of late have been good (Severance, The Children etc.), however this is everything that is bad about British Horror. Even with Gorezone/Horrorzone's Emily Booth, it still is nothing more than an amateur Horror/Romp, that is nothing more than silly...

The highlight for me was the brief glimpse of Avebury at the beginning as this is not too far away from where I live, however from this point forth it goes downhill rapidly. I suppose it could get a half for being so stupid, but for the most part it's cringe-worthy, and I'm embarrassed that they've released this on Region 1, just to show our friends over the pond just how awful we are...

Even the `Bloopers' aren't funny and go on for far too long proving once again that you can't watch this sober or sane...avoid at all costs!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hmm ... the combine harvester sold it for me, 2 Jul 2007
By D. J. Lythgoe (UK) - See all my reviews

Well too be honest this film is a must watch. How anyone can combine blood, guts, more gore etc and the "Wurzles" i really dont have the answer too. But that had me in stiches.

Films today take themselves way too seriously. Two Norwigean firends of mine loved this too.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not the worst of its genre by any means.
As you will see from the documentary, in the plentiful extras, the film was intended as a horror spoof and so the gore content was deliberately notched up to the nth degree. Read more
