This is a truly amazing account of one woman's experience of a Japanese Prisoner of War camp in the 2nd World War. Darlene Deibler Rose tells of her own sufferings and those of her fellow prisoners but also of the incredible way in which she was aware of God's faithful presence with her throughout this time. My own Father was in a similar camp and as he never said much about it, I personally found this account helpful in understanding what he went through.

This book out lines the terrible struggles of a female missionary in a WW2 POW camp in Japan, who was seperated from all those she loved. She was the first in the camp to loose her partner who was in another camp and underwent much during interigation as thought to be a spy. Dispite the horrors she experience we she the victory she gained by trusting in God. This may be useful for those struggling & wondering were God is in it all.

Amazing true story - incredibly inspiring. Makes you feel like you never ever want to complain about anything again.
