‘Probably the best book ever written on football violence’ - Daily Mail

The Shocking Truth Behind Football Violence

Everywhere We Go gives the most remarkable and frightening insight into the behaviour of the football thug. Written by two people who know the world of the hooligan from the inside, this book features many first-hand accounts of incidents, from both perpetrators and victims, that make chilling reading. It builds up to provide the most comprehensive look behind the matchday madness that has yet been published, explores:

• The changing face of football violence
• Who gets involved - and why
• How the ‘firms’ operate, both home and away
• The role of ‘scouts’ and ‘spotters’ in planning violence
• The football establishment - and how they can help solve the problem
• The involvement of the far right in football and the issue of racism

The first book I have read where the author understands the scene. Fantastic insight and writing. Highly recommended to anyone who wants a real view of "who, when and why".

1.0 out of 5 stars Everywhere we go 3 Mar 2013

Absolute garbage. Weak conclusions and generally a rant. Read far better books on this subject. Two guys who have obviously been involved at some level but fail to offer any real insight.

2.0 out of 5 stars Repetitive! 21 Feb 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This book starts quite well and gives some insight but after the first few pages it is much the same right the way through. Unless you are a diehard football fan I wouldn't recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars A True Reflection 10 Jan 2012
Format:Kindle Edition
As a football fan now in my 40, it was interesting reading and mirrored my own experiences.

Following a lower league team, you had more chances for "Taking the home end" etc and being a small club you were not expected to have large number of people.

As dictated in the book it was more fun going away that at home as you have a select crew who travelled all over the country, first by official coach, then hired Minibus, and Trains.

Train trip were always fun, a few beers and if you can claim a scalp even better.
