Different! 25 Feb 2010
Format:MP3 Download
This is a live recording of their Concert at The Lowry Gallery, Salford Quay in September 2003, warts, silences and all. The line up does not include Robin Williamson who, apparently, was "not invited to tour" as he wouldn't take practices seriously. The evidence of this recording suggest he wasn't the only one! The lads are showing a bit of age in their timbre and have rearranged quite a lot to cater for their lack of range. A new face "Fluff"(Clare) replaces Robin/Licourice. But all the old favourites are there and provoke fond reminiscences, and some have been refreshed well to more suit "modern" folky tastes. I think you probably had to have been there to really appreciate this. Mind you, not a bad price for 100 minutes of vintage stuff.
