Do you have a million questions about periods? Or can't you even bear to think about them? Talking about this subject can be really difficult - so here's a guide based on real questions, that thousands of real girls have already asked. Girls are maturing at a younger age and this book will be an invaluable guide for anyone from eight to eighteen. It covers:

How do you know when your periods are about to start?
What will it really be like?
Who do you tell?
What do you use?
Are you different now?
Common questions and problems, and much more...

The authors have been listening to what girls really want to know for many years. Dr Fiona Finlay and Dr Rosemary Jones are both consultant paediatricians, and Tricia Kreitman is the Agony Aunt for Mizz magazine. This eminently qualified trio have written a highly readable, accessible and reassuring guide.

Amazon Review

Written by consultant paediatricians Dr Fiona Finlay and Dr Rosemary Jones and Mizz magazine agony aunt Tricia Kreitman, this book is exactly what is needed to explain all about periods and to dispel common myths.

The book contains useful basic biology and discusses difficult issues in an understanding and knowledgeable way, making it a helpful tool in what is often a difficult area for parents to discuss with their daughters. Featuring answers to actual problem-page letters from teenage girls, there is great advice here on how to cope with common period problems and understand the processes at work.

Everything You Ever Wanted To Ask About Periods is a comprehensive, embarrassment-free book offering answers of the kind that girls may not have been able to find elsewhere and a welcome alternative to confusion and misinformation. --Rachel Ediss

This was a straight talking clear guide to your body!
It explained everything slowly and only some bits were scientific!
