Hannah Read-Baldrey is a stylist & author, who is best known for creating, co-writing, styling and illustrating the bestselling craft & cookery books Everything Alice & Everything Oz. This April will see the release of her newest book Girls Night In, Craft, Cakes and Cocktails for the Ultimate Party.
She originally trained on the Theatre Design Ba (hons) at the prestigious Central St Martins, a few years later she studied part time as an actor, at Central School of Speech and Drama.
He first work placement was in television, ironically on Blue Peter with the BBC. She then went on to work within the Art Department of films such as The Bank Job and Flashbacks of a Fool, as well as TV shows such as Catherine Tate. She first found photographic styling work by chance, a TV commercials set designer she was assisting also worked on fashion shoots, so her glamorous entrance into this world was for Vogue. She immediately loved it. Here she went on to work with her own clients, for advertising and fashion magazines, often on highly creative handmade projects as well as fantastical sets & conceptual still life you can see her work at hannahreadbaldrey.co.uk.
