This has to be the most up-lifting book I have ever read. Anybody who has lost a loved one will gain great comfort from it. Those who fear dying will wonder why they were ever scared when they read Ken Akehursts account of the wonders and beauty of the spirit world. A must for those wishing to develop their spiritual growth and understand more about life after death. Having lost my own mother, whome I was very close to, two years ago I can only say that this book gave me great inspiration and I am looking forward to seeing her again in the other realm.

Someone who has passed on gives news of the way life is in the next world through a friend still here in the physical realm. Anyone who is afraid of death ought to read this!

I purchased this book for my son who had recently lost his partner. I decided to read it myself first to see if it would be suitable for him. I was a bit dubious at first but the further into the book I got I found my feelings regarding death changing. If the book is to be believed, then Death when it comes will be nothing to fear but to embrace as a new beginning. I believe our Spirit lives on and although when we die we can't return to this earth, this book gives the reader hope in the afterlife, that it will be somewhere we all will want to be.

Prepares you for a happy change and new beginning 29 Aug 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This book says all the things that I have always believed. I was brought up Catholic, but this book, I couldn't put down. When I finished, I read it again. You have to be open minded,(which I am), to learn from this book. It teaches you to be the best that you can be & yes, we do have to be truly sorry for the truly wrongs we have committed. Excellent book. Would recommend to anyone with an open mind. If you have a closed mind, don't bother.

Delightful book . . . 28 Jun 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
This is a delightful book, told by an engaging man who had been a spiritual medium in his life on earth, and who has passed onto the after-life in 1978. His story and message was told through the act of mediumship to a man who typed the story to get the message out to the world. I have read many of a spiritual book on the after-life, and this one is one of the best. The author, interestingly so, is a bit repetitious with his message, but is quite aware of it. He's seemingly concerned with humans living their lives in the best way while on earth, and dispelling the fear of dealth in the meantime. A charming and comforting read.

Interesting parallell 8 Sep 2012

Like other 5-starers I couldn't put the book down.
Read it continuously beginning until the end.

Very realistic and insightful.

Interesting point of view, though controversial in Christian traditional view,
that Jesus was NOT supposed to die.

But live and be accepted and thereby give the full Redemption of spirit and body (as I understand the text)

Very similar to another in Christian view controversial text
Divine Principle, by the late Rev Sun Myung Moon
who died resently.

Interesting support of controversial interpretation.
Was there an alternative for the Salvation through the Cross,
with Jesus living out his life.

Best Regards.
