I've practiced for many years now, and this is one of the best I've seen. There's something for everyone, and it is centered around present issues and concerns... Very practical!! Very easy to use, and inspiring. I recommend it to all and cannot fathom why anyone would give this book a poor report. It is wonderful, beautiful, and as I said -- practical! Wicca and Witchcraft are growing and changing traditions...if one cannot grow, one stagnates and dies. It is a book (of spells and rituals) for the present and the future as well...and this is where we are -- in the present. Read it, use it, and grow. :)

Everyday Magic is a well written book and it fit into my everyday living just as if it had been written for me personally. The modern day methods of dealing with the "old ways" of the craft amazed me. To go to a thrift store and pick up a cheap blender instead of trying to do so many herbal blends with the mortar. I was so mermerized with so many of Dorothy's modern gimmicks. Being able to improvise has always been big with me, Dorothy seems to do the same in her book.
The spells and rituals in here are all based on today's available materials. Trying to find something called dragon's blood was not easy for me. In this book, Dorothy makes it all so simple and still so effective. Spells of interest to the modern twentieth century housemate and businessperson. Spells and rituals that make so much sense and are so easily adaptable for my and others active lives.
I recommend, as I have many times, reading this book. I have read many and find this one to my liking on a high rating of "Way to go, Dorothy Morrison"
Excellent book and will keep an eye and ear open of reports of others from D. Morrison.
Age, gender, and type of path are not even a stoppage point here. For all and then some.

If your looking for a book of spells that covers most situations yet doesn't require taking out a loan to preform them, then this is the book for you. Dorothy combines simple and sometimes humerous spells that are easy to do and in "plain english". I highly recommend this book for the beginner or experienced. Witchcraft doesn't have to be heavy, so lighten up and enjoy. Blessed Be!

I started my life as a witch by reading books like "The real witches handbook" and "witch" by Fiona Horne these where great for fo spirituality side of things but I got to the stage where I needed more on spells, this was just what I needed hundreds of spells to help with everything from finding a parking space to de-stressing..

If you are a practicing witch or just interested in Magick, this book is perfect. It contains some fantastically original spells that actually work. It also has every correspondance you need; how to create oils and incenses (which she makes easy), which herbs to use for certain spells, and which Godesses to invoke. This makes this a book to have on every occultists bookshelf.

This is the most usefull grimore I have found to date. Not only is the reference section at the beginning really usefull the section at the back showing alternatives is excellent. This book recognises the fact that it isn't always possible to locate those ingredients that the spell requires. Excellent, indispensible!!

This books has a part in the beggining which describes the magical meaning of things such as colours, tree's, stones and herbs, and then has over 300 spells to perform to help you in a modern life, and also and appendixes with herbs, stones and deities. A good read, and worth every penny!

This book's simplicity is its strong point. Spells for many different occasions - laid out simply for your understanding. It also works as a good inspiration to carefully craft your own spells for use.
