I was very disappointed with this book. it is Canadian and is very "pan-asian" with lots of noodles and chillies etc etc. There must be more to cholesterol-low diets than that. Also very few photographs. It did not inspire me to want to try any of the recipes.

I was a little worried that the book was not going to be useful because it seemed to be based on Canadian recipes but it is easy to follow and measurements and weights are easy to follow. The early part of the book gives useful information on fat and salt contents. I dip into this book for ideas for meals from the extensive recipes
