This is a special edition double album package that includes both of Ingrid Michaelson's studio albums to date: her 2007 debut album Girls and Boys and 2009's Everybody. In addition to the full tracklisting of both albums, the special edition also features Ingrid Michaelson's solo version of "Parachute", the song she co-wrote with Marshall Altman that later became a top five hit for Cheryl Cole.

Both of these albums are absolutely incredible. I love every single song on "Everybody" and just about every one on "Girls and Boys." This is one artist who is going places.

Bought this album a few weeks ago and haven't stopped listening since! Ingrid is a talent I wish I'd discovered sooner, with a beautiful voice and melodies that really sink into your skin after a few listens. I've turned my mum and sister on to her too. If you've only heard one or two of Ingrid's songs and are undecided, do what I did and take the plunge. Two albums for £12 is a bargain however you look at it, and you won't be disappointed here.
Favourite songs include : The Chain, Soldier, Locked Up, Parachute, Die Alone, Masochist, and Corner of Your Heart.
And if you like what you hear here, then check out "Winter Song", her duet with Sarah Bareilles. Simply stunning.

Despite already having mp3 downloads of all three of Ingrid Michaelson's albums, I bought this anyway.
It includes the Everybody album and Girls and Boys. Both are brilliant albums. As a writer she is incredibly talented and writes songs that are easy to relate to and easy to listen too.
Her albums have so far been unreleased in the UK, but she recently found success here as the writer of Cheryl Cole's Parachute single. So this double album has been released to bring her further into the attention of the UK masses.
Her songs are often in Grey's Anatomy. The song 'Keep Breathing' appeared in the season 3 finale and is a hauntingly beautiful song. Her song 'Be OK' is also appearing in a mobile phone advert at the moment. She is a regular in film soundtracks.
What's great about this pack is, in addition to the two albums you get 'Be Ok' 'Keep Breathing' and 'You and I' from the Be Ok album. You also get Ingrid's version of Parachute. The song is a better Cheryl Cole song than an Ingrid Michaelson song.
I personally prefer Girls and Boys over Everybody. However it is one of the few artists where I can say I like every song. Definitely give it a go if you like music with heart and meaning.
