Quite good to see how the USMC go about things from the view of ' one of their own'. Worh a read just for the insight.

Read this if you want to understand the huge differences between the Allies approach to Afgan.
Poor discipline and gung ho attitude is what I see in this record of their engagement in Afgan. Not for me, sorry.

This book is not great but not terrible. Dear mom a snipers tale is a much better clearer read. Too much army jargon in this book and unlike others you dont get a feel about being there with the author. Chickenhawk is still my favourite.

All they want to do, it get out there and kill, kill, kill, no thought of helping the minds and souls of the villagers. At least the British tried to work with the villages. A typical American war book, we did it all..
