Ann Rule is a master of true crime and Every Breath You Take was no exception. It tells the story of Sheila Bellush and her life before, during and after her marriage to one extremely sick puppy....Allan Blackthorne. An enthralling read but slightly confusing at times with all the marriages involved!
I love Ms Rules books and think everyone should read at least one...at which point they'll be hooked and will be in search of another one.

I was given this book as a Christmas present and foun it BRILLIANT. The best ever written by Miss Rule.I found it absouloutely amazing that any human being can treat another this way,like many people who thinks that money can buy everything this man got his com-uppenance.Lets just hope that this is for life.However what a traggic legacy he has left his children and all the other people that his crimes so cold heartedly commited.This is a definite MUST for all true crime readers.I fully intend tor re-read this book,because there is always something missed the first time around.

I didnt read until a freind leant me one of Ann Rule's books, now i cant stop! Every Breath You Take is by far one of the best. It starts by telling you of Allen's up bringing and you realise from the start Allen is not like you or me, he has no conscience. He marries several women who soon realise he is not the person they thought he was as Sheila, his 3rd wife finds out. He uses his daughters he manipultes and abuses them to get his revenge and he wont give up until he makes Sheila pay the price. Allen had a new family but he couldnt let go of Sheila, not because he loved her, there was not reason, Allen is simply pure evil as you will learn when you read some of the terrible things he has done both to human and anything else that had the fate to cross his path. Read it, its excellent. It would be fantastic if Ann Rule wrote follow ups to all the books she has already written, telling of what has become of the people in her stories.
