“Ultra-sexy, heart-pumping suspense and adventure.” – Julianne MacLean, USA Today best-selling author

“Sexy, gritty and thrilling.” – Joss Ware, award-winning author of Night ForbiddenVeterinarian Lauren Townsend has good reason for hiding her psychic ability. Not only did her “freakishness” earn her pariah status in the small town where she grew up, it cost her a fiancé and her faith in love. When Lauren foresees a murder—through the killer’s eyes—she traces the victim to a sprawling ranch, never guessing what waits for her…

Cal Taggart’s rugged ranch life doesn’t need any more complications. His stubborn determination cost him his marriage, and now may cost him his livelihood. But then beautiful Lauren enters his corral…with danger close behind. And Cal wants nothing more than to protect her. They can’t deny their intense attraction. Nor do they want to. What begins as a fling with no strings becomes a fight for survival—and for true love.

Previously published as Lauren’s Eyes.

More About the Author

The tenth of eleven children, I had to do something to distinguish myself. That thing turned out to be writing.

One of the coolest things that ever happened to me was finalling in Romance Writers of America's Golden Heart contest for unpublished romance writers in 2001. I went on to do it again in 2002 and 2003.

Another cool thing: winning the 2003 New Voice in Romance contest sponsored by Dorchester Publishing and Romantic Times Magazine. My contest-winning story went on to be published by Dorchester.

A *super* cool thing: the revolutionizing of reading habits by Kindle and other eReaders. That development allowed me to publish my romantic suspense stories that didn't quite fit for traditional publishers, but which have been very well received by readers. Yay, Amazon!

I live in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada, with my husband, two YA kids, five rats and a Rotti-Lab cross.

4.0 out of 5 stars Every Breath She Takes 23 Jan 2013
By Sarah (Feeling Fictional) TOP 500 REVIEWER VINE VOICE
Format:Paperback|Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
Lauren has spent years trying to hide her psychic abilities so she isn't considered a freak by her friends and family. She has visions of murders but in the past she has never been able to see enough detail to save the life of one of the victims. This time she has been able to pin down a location and she is determined to prevent the murder from taking place. Taking an extended holiday from her veterinary practise she travels to the Foothills Guest Ranch in search of the victim. It is there that she meets ranch owner Cal. She is attracted to Cal but when she realises who the victim in her visions is she knows he has a motive and worries he might be the killer. Cal has been hurt in the past and is determined never to put his heart on the line again. That doesn't mean he is against the idea of having a little fun with his mysterious new long term guest though. As the pair grow closer Lauren comes nearer to figuring out the killer's identity but will Cal believe her when she shares her visions with him and can she stop the killer before she ends up becoming a victim herself?

Before I start this review I think it is worth pointing out that Every Breath She Takes was previously published with the title Lauren's Eyes - I just want to stop anyone making the mistake of purchasing this book twice thinking they're getting a new story when in fact they've already read it. This was actually my first book by Norah Wilson but I really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to reading more of her work in the future. I don't read a great deal of romantic suspense but as I'm on a real contemporary romance kick at the moment I couldn't resist this one - especially when I found out that Cal is a cowboy and ex-rodeo star! Who doesn't love a sexy cowboy?

3.0 out of 5 stars Too mills and boon 17 Feb 2013
By Beanie Luck Spud TOP 500 REVIEWER VINE VOICE
Format:Paperback|Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
I quite enjoyed this up to a point and loved the idea of a psychic hunting down and trying to protect one of her visions from being murdered.

What i didnt enjoy was the overkill on the sex front and how they fall in love and its mind blowing blah blah

Cal doesnt seem a bit creeped out that Lauren is overly obsessed with seing where Marlena is 24/7 - it would seem a bit stalkerish to anyone normal.

I enjoyed the ranch setting but i had read it before from Tilly Bagshawe.

It had so much promise but ended up being very standard mills and boon writing.

Shame really as the idea was a good one.

4.0 out of 5 stars you get whats on the cover 27 Feb 2014
By margesimpson VINE VOICE
Format:Paperback|Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
that is a slightly supernatural romance which tries to be fast paced with lots of heat between the 2 main people in the story , i found this a middle scale book a pleasant read but probably not one i would recommend to others unless i knew that they were a lover of this type of book. i also think all books retitled on release should clearly state the previous title so you dont get caught buying it twice , hate that

2.0 out of 5 stars A bit dull 29 Jan 2013
By S. J. Hughes VINE VOICE
Format:Paperback|Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
I started to read this book and wondered if there was a page missing, it all seemed a bit disjointed. But don't give up - read on and all will be revealed. A "nice" story quite predictable in places with a bit of intrigue to help you along.
