The new novel for adults from the bestselling author of THE GUY NEXT DOOR and BOY MEETS GIRL --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

Book Description

When cartoonist Jane Harris's best friend Holly announces that she's eloping to the Italian Riviera with longtime boyfriend Mark, and asks Jane to be her maid-of-honour, Jane jumps at the chance, delighted by the prospect of her first ever trip to Europe. What Jane doesn't gamble on is Mark's choice for best man, journalist Cal Langdon. It's hate at first sight for Jane and Cal. But when Holly and Mark's wedding plans hit a major snag that only Jane and Cal can repair, the two find themselves having to put aside their mutual dislike for one another in order to get their best friends on the road to wedded bliss - and end up on a path neither of them ever expected to tread... Told in diary form and in emails, this is a brilliant, funny and highly original follow on to the internationally successful Meg Cabot adult novels, THE GUY NEXT DOOR and BOY MEETS GIRL. BOY MEETS GIRL 'This tale is a hoot' Entertainment Weekly 'Cabot's novel is delightfully fun to read' Booklist --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

5.0 out of 5 stars infinity stars!, 16 Jun 2005
By
This review is from: Every Boy's Got One (Paperback)
This is the most delicious book you will EVER read! It is absolutely hilarious, I could not stop laughing the entire way through, and unlike most books which have that said about it, this is completely true, I was giggling madly on every page! I couldn't make myself go and do homework until I finished it, and I felt so gorgeous after I had that I just had to come and write this. I would recommend it to every fantastic longing hopeless romantic who loves to laugh, I absolutely adored it!
(If you're interested in plot and characters, Jane the main character is wickedly funny, and you just know her and Cal are completely gorgeous! Their story has been done before I guess, but is addictive, engagingly sweet and romantic(but not AT ALL corny or cheesy!) and wildly funny. Read this book, that is the best advice I can give you if you're like me!!)

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Book EVER!!!!, 1 May 2006
This review is from: Every Boy's Got One (Paperback)
This book is the best that you will ever read in your lifetime! Jen is the maid of honour at Holly and Mark's elopement in Italy. Mark's best man Cal is mean and nasty and him and Jen fight from the minute they meet at the airport. Cal doesn't believe in marriage because once he had a failed marriage to a model. However, in Italy, the sparks fly and Jen is set on changing Cal's mind. This is one funny romantic page-turner that you won't forget in a hurry!

I've always loved Meg Cabot, and i have all of her books give or take a few! She's a fantastic author who never disappoints and writes in a magical way that keeps you on the edge of your seat! I was disappointed when it ended!

It's written in email and diary form, so its a newer and more exciting way of reading, though you have to make sure u no whos talkin or it gets confusin! This is a great carry on from the boy next door and boy meets girl! BUY THIS BOOK!

5.0 out of 5 stars Funny stuff from Meg Cabot..., 16 Feb 2005
This review is from: Every Boy's Got One (Paperback)
As a major fan of the Boy series by Meg Cabot, I've been awaiting the latest novel for ages! So, it was no surprise when I received the book that it was going to be cracking.

The story is clear: Jane, who draws a cartoon called Wondercat for the New York Journal, is asked to go out to Italy with her best friend Holly and her fiance Mark, who are eloping there due to a disagreement over the engagement by their parents. However, it's a secret, shared only by Jane and Mark's best man, Cal. Jane and Cal hate each other on sight, no matter how many times Holly tries to persuade her he is the 'one', and Cal keeps thinking about Jane's impractical shoes. But when Holly and Mark eat badly-cooked seafood and get really ill, it's up to Jane and Cal to sort out the wedding arrangements. Can they do it without killing each other? And what does every boy have anyway?

I love this book! It's as light as a feather, but addictive too.

Get this for your next holiday!
