Product Description

Stars such as Mikel Arteta, Tim Cahill, Yakubu and other Goodison first team players join manager David Moyes to talk about special moments in time that have been captured by the photographer's lens. This official hardback book features a variety of exclusive photos to give fans a real insight into how Everton players think during the key action of a Premiership or European game - or away from the pitch - revealing some surprising stories along the way about themselves and their team-mates. Members of the extended Everton family - ex-players and Goodison celebrities - also get in on the act by talking about some memorable footballing moments that have touched them during a lifetime's allegiance to Merseyside's first football club. The Everton FC Family Album is a must for fans wanting to savour some great photography and share the innermost thoughts of the men who have shaped the course of Goodison history.

If you consider yourself an Evertonian, hardcore or just a follower, this book is a great buy. The stories behind the pictures give a real insight into how the Everton players feel about their lives on and off the field in blue. For example Cahill talks about the moment he converted his bicycle kick into a lasp gasp equaliser at Stamford Bridge in 2007 as his best goal, claiming "I couldnt have hit harder standing up!" Unlike other Everton books, this is up to date as of 2008/09 season and isn't boring dribble from former players writing about past glories anyone under the age of 30 cant relate to. This is an up to date account from current Goodison Park players bringing a personal insight into Everton fans greatest memories under Moyes and beyond. For the sake of a great keep sake its worth buying!!!
