I have used thigh toners similar to this for the past 2 years with good (though not miracle) results, they do defininately tone the thighs if used every day properly, HOWEVER, after about 9 months to a year, the spring in the middle always snaps so I have to buy a new one. I had difficulty finding a replacement this time but came across this one. Being a brand name I thought the quality would be good..........this was not the case. As soon as I got it out of the box (which I should add must be opened carefully as it suddenly springs out with force if not done properly) I could see the thing was much flimsier than it looked in the photo & much thinner than the previous ones I've had. I still went ahead and tried to use it but honestly, it was hopeless! the thing cannot be held straight it just keeps whizzing off to the side as soon as you put any pressure on it. I decided after several attempts this was just not going to be any use at all. I returned the silly item and managed to find a more substantial stronger made one on ebay just like the others I had used in the past. If you're thinking of getting a thigh toner, please save your self the hassle of having to return it, just DON'T BUY THIS particular make. The one I got from ebay is much better even though no brand name and was actually £3.50 cheaper! Bear in mind though, whatever one you get will not last more than a year if used daily, the spring will snap & you'll need to get another, still a good buy though as they don't cost much, JUST DON'T BUY AN EVERLAST ONE!

THIS PRODUCT GIVES A GREAT LITTLE WORK OUT AND IS GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. I MUST STRESS THOUGH DEFINATLY READ THE OUTSIDE OF THE PACKAGING BEFORE OPENING IT AS I THOUGHT THEY WERE INSTRUCTIONS FOR HOW TO USE IT WHEN IT WAS ACTUALLY TELLING YOU HOW TO CAREFULLY OPEN THE PACKAGE AS I FOUND OUT WHEN YOU DO OPEN IT THE PRODUCT FLINGS OPEN IT HIT ME IN THE FACE AND GAVE ME A BLEEDING FAT LIP FUNNY NOW BUT NOT AT THE TIME IT REALLY REALLY HURT.

On the positive side, the principle of this thigh toner is great, and once you get it positioned properly you can definitely feel the pull on your muscles.
Unfortunately, the build quality of the product is poor and it is quite uncomfortable to use. The product that arrives does not look like the one pictured - the side arms are a dark industrial-looking grey, instead of the silvery colour shown. Attractiveness aside, there is a serious deviation from the illustrated product insofar as the 'open' side of each loop has a much wider gap than that shown - where it appears that the loop almost touches the centre of the mechanism. In fact, the 'open' side of each loop only comes to roughly halfway up the full length of the other side, and the inch and a half of this is simply unsupported foam rubber padding. The result of this deviation is that it can be quite fiddly to position the thigh toner so that it is not either digging in to you or liable to slip.
The packaging, as a number of people have warned, is somewhat on the dangerous side... to keep the volume of packaging down, the thigh toner is packed in 'closed' form, with the spring mechanism under pressure, so when released the device flies open.
