Product Features

10 pack of Eveready bulbs. Halogen energy saving R50 with SES Small edison screw (E14) fitting as per picture. Only 28 watts power usage but they give out 40 watts equivalent light. 240v power usage. Also suitable for security lights.
They use 30% less energy than a standard bulb. Fully dimmable.
Length including metal screw fitting is 85mm tip to tip. Width is 49.5mm at widest point of lens. As these are Halogen energy savers rather than CFL they come on at full brightness instantly so are also perfect for security lights.
Two year lifespan in normal use. 240v standard UK mains power..
Fully CE safety approved and made by a quality brand they directly replace a 40w R50 bulb with no compromises, they are longer lasting than a normal bulb and better for the environment. These bulbs save you money on electricity bills by using 30% less energy for the same light output. Can be used outside if used with a suitable waterproof light fitting designed for outside use.

Have had these lightbaulbs for 2 months now and so far, so good. Have been using very cheap, normal (not enery saving) baulbs in my spotlights and they have blown every month or so. These energy saving lightbaulbs seem to last quite well. They omit very bright white light.

In fact one of the bulbs went as soon as it was turned on. I have only tried 3 of the 9, one was sent two weeks before the other 9.

These bulbs are total rubbish. They last about 2 months. I bought a ten pack and have had to replace everyone within 2 months. Eveready say they last 2000 hours, which is total rubbish, these will last around 100 hours. I wont be buying these again. A waste of money. I wanted to rate this product a ZERO, but could only give a minimum of 1 star.
