About the Author
Molly Potter has taught for 11 years in Middle Schools as a class teacher and Science co-ordinator. She now works as a SRE (Sex and Relationships Education) development worker supporting primary schools in the implementation of their SRD programme and policy. She has produced a variety of PSHE related resources for use in primary classrooms. She thoroughly enjoys writing teacher materials and prides herself on being able to spice up any learning objective however boring it might appear at first!

Every time I look at this book, I get more and more excited. Ms Potter has done it again - a book full of ideas for inspiring a class and inspiring teachers too! A fantastic place to begin units of work - Radio Show could introduce a podcasting session, Celebrate Nature gives a great opener for a `green' unit, and Letter of Contradictions is a brilliant way to discuss the subtleties of message and let children play with language. Since the book is divided into useful categories (like exploring language, creative thinking, etc.), it's simple to drop into it for a moment of inspiration, which you WILL find. What I love most about Molly Potter's books is the invitation to creativity for teachers as well as pupils. I always turn to her books for that moment when I need to think from a different angle. This book is no exception and can offer many acute, obtuse and even reflex perspectives on many ideas.

Great for ideas when you end up at a school with no work provided. The ideas are structured, enjoyable and the kids get a great deal of enjoyment doing something a little different.I enjoy delivering the lessons as well.

I bought this book because I have the first in the series and have used the activities many times with my class. And this book has turned out to be exactly what I hoped it was going to be.... lots more ideas of a similar style and quality.
I have used the 'Commentary of a Food Fight' activity and the strange environment where pupils have to work out what visitors will do to be entertained there. I also used the letter of contradiction in literacy and children loved making up contradictory ideas. As ever with Molly Potter activities, the class was very animated, buzzing with ideas and motivating them was really not a problem!
