Oil/vinegar carafes 30 Oct 2009

These look good, and work very well - cleaning them is a bit of a faff, or rather getting them dry enough to refill after cleaning, but we have one with olive oil, one with balsamic vinegar, and they are in constant use. They really are drip free, have lids to stop gunk getting in, and live happily by the side of the hob ready to hand during cooking. Saves getting bottles out of cupboards, and fiddly screw tops which then get lost in the guddle of preparation. Pouring is also easy to control.

I bought this for my dad as I was given one and he liked it, however we have only had them since Christmas and the rubber bung around the pourer has already split on both of them. I have emailed Eva Solo and got on reply or replacement, I find it very poor quality.

I bought one of these for myself, being an Eva Solo fan already, and then bought them as presents for two sisters - should give you an idea that I like them! They look great, and are great for drizzling oil - either into a pan or over salad. I've never had a problem with any drips or messiness. I have a salad dressing pot, which is smaller, and great too.
