The 2012 Eurovision Song Contest was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, and proved to be a huge victory for Sweden, whose entry “Euphoria” by Loreen won by a landslide. This 3-Disc DVD contains the two Semi-Finals and the Grand Final, as well as an interview with Loreen from the press conference immediately after the show and backstage footage.

I have got every Eurovision DVD since 2004 (yeah I am a Euro nut) and one of the features of the DVDs that I like is the official videos of the top 10 of the final. Sadly, that is missing from this year. I say sadly as the top 10 this year was one of the best and it would have been good to see those videos. I have watched the DVD and it served as a reminder that for all the money Azerbaijan threw at Eurovision there was not the same atmosphere as previous years. Of course, like every year, you have your great songs (Spain), your not so bad songs (Greece) and your downright bizarre songs(I am pointing at you Montenegro). For a fan, like myself, this is a dvd to have in your collection. I just hope that the makers of the Eurovision DVD next year bring back my favorite feature.

Hello,
I thought this years entries were of a high standard.
The city of Baku looked beautiful.
The show was as good as any I have seen and I've seen them
all since 1973.
The cheating remains the same as last year, I wrote the scores
down before they were announced and got most of them right.
I love the show, but it's time for the UK to say goodbye.

I love this DVD and its a great addition to my Eurovision collection, I just miss the cheeky commentary from the lovely Mr Graham Norton!! xx
