The program deals with flight, following the evolution of birds from 300 million years BC to the present day and highlighting avian experts in hovering, gliding and other special flight manouvres.

Another section depicts animal senses, showing creatures which have highly developed hearing, sight, smell, taste and touch such as the bat, the pit viper and the polar bear, which can smell seals 25 km away.

In its Hunter And Hunted section the program explains how predators hunt their prey and also tells of the specialised ways in which animals escape attack by fleeing, freezing or fighting. It also includes a fascinating and colourful section on camouflage.

A glossary section rounds off this beautifully produced educational title. Clicking on animals, birds, reptiles or insects produces a full colour picture of your chosen creature with an information panel giving a full description and facts on habitat, behaviour and breeding.
