I bought Live From the Dark last week, partly out of curiosity and partly based on a good review on Amazon..and right from the start, I have not been disappointed! This is a really enjoyable DVD, with live concert footage from their final show of a busy European tour, in London.
Europe may be famous for The Final Countdown and Rock the Night, but this DVD shows that they have a lot more - so much energy on stage and so many good enjoyable rock songs!
The Taxi Diaries is a really nice feature and lets you get to know the band on a more personal level. You see that they are nice, down-to-earth guys with a passion for playing live, who have matured during the years and who have come back stronger with a heavy new sound, after a decade apart.
You don't have to be a Europe fan to enjoy this ..just a fan of good rock music, good singing and gifted musicians! You'll be pleasantly surprised!

This DVD is simply superb, and an absolute bargain to boot. Watching these Guys rock at Hammersmith appollo makes it seem even stranger that this band aren't bigger, even in our fickle and fashion conscious music scene in the UK. It also shows there is a lot more to Europe than the Final Countdown. Every song on here is superbly performed and really captures the atmosphere at the gig. The sound qulaity is superb throughout, with the option of regular stereo or crystal clear 5.1 dolby digital. For your money you get 2 disks, the first has the entire 2004 Hammersmith show. The second has backstage footage, band interviews, and a documentary all about the tour.

This the EUROPE concert from november 2004 at Hammersmith which shows they are the best live rock band in the world. This DVD has 2 discs.Disc 1 is the whole concert which is in very good sound and picture quality and on Disc 2 has videos of Got to have faith and HERO and also the TAXI Diaries which are really great at showing how the band are down-to-earth guys who are kind and respect their loyal fans who have been with them all the years.In the diaries each band member talks about being in the band and events which have happened to them.
If you're fan you will buy this straight away. If you like them a bit give this a go you won't regret it.

NOTHING TO REVIEW
I would like to review this product, however it has not been received to date, Jan. 29th, 2011. Delivery was scheduled for Jan. 13th, 2011, i.e. my order is 16 days late.

Europe ...Rechristened !!
Well...I've listened to Europe for many years...They have a bunch of songs apart from the popular ones that are real gems.They also got better with their later albums... Read more
