The Europa Universalis games by Paradox Interactive are a wonderful series of grand strategy games, where you can take over any imaginable country in the early to late renaissance and the Age of Enlightenment. However, this particular set, of the three first games, is not best value for money. Europa Universalis I, the first game in the series, is considered the weakest. While the sequel Europa Universalis II is a wonderful game for its time, it does not compare to the third game, EU III. However, EU III is at its best with its expansion packs: Napoleon's Ambition, In Nomine and Heir to the Throne. Instead of this package, I recommend getting the complete EU III collection with all the expansion packs. You will get much more fun out of that than these three games.
