Fun:
A lot of folk have slagged this off for being too CPU intensive. I have a Dual Core with 3GB RAM and a GeForce 8600 graphics card, and it is as smooth as silk. It's fun, and the fact that the driving jobs are pretty short is good. Who on Earth would want to sit in front of a PC screen for hours on end??!!
You can choose from 2 trucks at the start as you only have 100,000 Euros, but the more drives you do, the more cash you earn, and watch out for other vehicles, as bumping into them can cost you!!
Great for map reading, and watching out for those road signs!! I think judging by the skill level of drivers out there today, this would benifit a great deal!!
You can also play the game using your joystick or controller. I did the first 2 jobs delivering apples in Rome using the keyboard to drive, and the mouse to look around the cabin/wing mirrors etc, then found out that plugging in my joystick made the steering a thousand times better!!
Personally, I think this is great. You get a great perspective in the cab, and you can reverse and attach your trailer using your wing mirrors, like in real life. Yes, you can use the over head camera, but it's more fun doing it properly! A bargain for £[]!

Fun:
i have had this game for nearly a year now and it is just perfect i can play for hours and hours although with out a stering wheel its not as easy to play its still grate fun i have got a 2 year old if not more vista computer whitch eats this game for breckfast and the computers not even that high speck so i would say but this game every day it is briliant fun

Euro Truck Simulator Gold (PC CD)
well i love the game i would recommend buying it and a Racewheel otherwise you may be driving erratically. was a lil disapointed at the fictional trucks

Great game!
This game is really fun and is the best simulator I have tried, so far! Would recommend it as is easy to use and the graphics are very good.
