totally euphoric, 20 May 2004
The two cds comprise some of the most uplifting trance tracks of 2000 and 2001. I think the best cd is cd1 because there are better tunes. Both cds begin really well but tend to drop off in the middle, especially cd2.There's some big tunes on here, such as Libra's Anamoly - Calling Your Name, Ian Van Dahl's Will I, PPK's ResuRection, Minimalistix's Close Cover, and Bartezz's On the Move. But we're spared trash from Flip 'n' Fill, Scooter, or Kelly Llorena, like you find on MOS albums. I don't like hard trance much, so my least favourites are Steve Lee's Bumper, BK and Nick Sentience's Flash, and Warp Brothers' Blast the Speakers. Thankfully, there's not much hard trance on this album. Other tracks are a bit boring or don't go anywhere, such as Virtua Trancer's Sex After Dinner. But there are quite a few killer tracks which more than make up for it. Just some of my faves are: cd1 - Evolution's Walking on Fire, Accadia's Into the Dawn (my namesake!), Ian Van Dahl's Will I (Lange Remix), Dreamwaver's Liquid:MM, PPK's ResuRection (everyone's favourite!); cd2 - Minimalistix's Close Cover (another popular one), Mirco de Govia's Epic Monolith, Cortina's Music is Moving (strong vocal, quite retro), Lange's Drifting Away, and Agnelli and Nelson's Everday... (excellent end to the album). I got Total Euphoria because of the positive reviews on this page and I wasn't disappointed. You probably won't like all the tracks, but you'll love a lot of them.
