5.0 out of 5 stars Perfection 29 Dec 2012
Without a question the best edition (of any book) I have ever seen. The quality of the binding is worthy of the tag 'library binding'. It is the little things that make this book wonderful. For example, in Book 1 Proposition 2, the proof starts at the middle of the right page and carries over to the next page. In other publications, the reader is expected to turn the page back each time they wish to reference the figure. Nope, the figure is printed again on the next page - thank you. The font is big and clear - yes, even the figures are nice and clear. Behind the dust cover, you will find a green cloth binding with embossed gold print on the back. A lot of love and thought went into the production this edition and it shows.

5.0 out of 5 stars Anyone can understand this! 30 Aug 2014
By Arkan M
Note: I am not rating this simply because it is, well, Euclid. The reason is the crystal clear proofs, and the beautiful and harmonious way in which Euclid develops geometry from first principles. I am confident that anyone can understand this!

Superb - I can understand why it has stood the test of time - it should be THE textbook for GCSE maths today.
