Bought a few pairs of these 18 months ago after noticing some ringing in my ears which is not going away. I can cope at the moment but I dread that it may get worse. I attend a lot of live gigs and don't want to stop. So I thought I would try some of these. I'm still on the first pair as they are re-useable They fit snuggly in the ears and sound levels are reduced depending on how deep you push them in and they seem to cope with even the noisiest surroundings. I bit of wax removal is required avery so often but I would not be without them now and make sure I take them anywhere which is likely to be nosy. It's just like turning the volume down on your MP3 or Hi-Fi and conversation can be heard although it is also at a lower level of volume. Recommended to anyone worried about noise levels and not expensive
