Great little cycle computer,

Bought this for the London-Cambridge bike-ride 2010 having never bothered with one before - I was wary of the cheap price, but it is perfect! You can let it go on auto mode which scrolls through all its functions every 5 seconds and be kept up to date on av. speed, time spent cycling, actual time of day, max speed and current speed is displayed all the time as well. I am very pleased with it.

You must have Round Forks,
This review is from: Etc Mach-2 Bicycle Computer - 8 Functions (Sports)
Seems like a good little unit. However do not buy if you do not have round forks on your bike, the sensor plate is designed to fit a curve, so if like me you bike has thin flat forks the sensor will not fit and you cannot align the magnet and sensor to the 5mm distance required between them.

I bought this for my 10 year old son (well actually he gave me a tenner, so I made a tidy £2+ profit - nice). The instructions weren't very easy to follow, but with a bit of patience and about 1-2hours, we were off and running. He really likes the features and the info available - especially speed! The following day we went off for a 47.89 (!) mile ride, and I was kept fully appraised of speed, average speed, time in the saddle, mileage etc etc by my son (great). Most of the data resets when you hold the button down, but the clock and odometer don't (unless you press the reset button on back) - perfect. It is a neat little unit, and I think I will buy one for myself now (at this price, why not?).
