This cable may be suitable for devices that have their own power source, or for those with low power requirements via USB, but I have had no success with portable hard drives that take their power from the USB port. The drive LED illuminates but the drive is not recognised. Other cables I have work perfectly.

I bought this for my DualShock 3 PS3 controller (PS3). It hooks up with it fine. Used the cable on my cameras. It works with those too...
Prefer to use the cable with controllers than with a camera due to its long length.

I bought a few of these cables to replace a dodgy USB Mini cable I have and a couple spare, as the price was so good.
Now they they've arrived I'm pretty gutted to see that the product information is false. they're not a USB Mini cable, they're micro and not even 1m long. So they're pretty much useless to me.
Despite this I'll say the cables seem well made and looks like it was designed specifically for phone charging 'made for moto' . I put it in my phone and the phone recognised a charging cable was inserted, so it seems to work perfectly for that if it's what you're after.
So in conclusion: IF YOU'RE AFTER 1METRE USB MINI CABLES, LOOK ELSEWHERE.

Does what it says
Needed this and when looking for it in stores it was much more expensive coming with bulky showy packaging which is unnecessary.

rubbish
I brought this wire for my ps3 controller and it is loss and faulty disconnects everytime I move my controller and doesn't charge my controller for some reason but other wires work
