Product Description

The book, which is clearly written and illustrated in colour, describes the causes of dental caries ("dental decay") and its progression through the tooth. Its emphasis is on prevention as well as early diagnosis so that decay can be arrested in its early stages. It covers methods of prevention from both a scientific and practical point of view so that it is relevant to the dental undergraduate as well as dental nurses, dental health education, hygienists and therapists.

This textbook is really good for those beginning a dental caries course and I have found it extrmely useful. The book decribes all aspects of dental caries including aetiology and prevention and is very easy to read making the subject interesting. I would reccomend it to anyone studying dentistry.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comprehensive, 31 May 2010
This little book is a joy to read and even covers topics like temporisation of carious lesions that most other texts do not. If you read this, you will look on in disgust as your ''tutours'' drill-away non-cavitated Class II lesions................
