This book is fine if you are new to Reiki, but don't believe all you read. Diane Stein is merely stating her own interpretation of Reiki.
I have been teaching Reiki for over 15 years and found nothing new in his book.
Don't buy it if you already have her other book, Essential Reiki as it is more or lest the same with a few extra pages.

I would highly recommend this book. Having no real guidance in teaching, this book by Diane Stein provided some comprehensive knowledge on how to run workshops in Reiki First, Second and Master degrees. I have read this book from cover to cover and it will remain a constant reference tool for me with regards to Reiki and Teaching.

I love this book! I am a Reiki master and I recommend this book to all of my students. It is so informative and the author is so enthusiastic about Reiki and it's concept and use. She is also very brave in publishing the Reiki symbols for all to see (something which is generally frowned upon by Reiki hierarchy but invaluable in my opinion to students of 2nd and 3rd degree Reiki, although it has to be said that there can be slight variations in the way that symbols are drawn and taught by individual Reiki masters).
She also explains the way attunements are carried out, making the book a great point of reference. All in all it is a must have for all Reiki students and practitioners and should, in my opinion, be the first book they buy on their Reiki journey! I certainly would not be without my copy!
