Bought this for my seven year old daughter. She loves it, reads some herself and loves having the more complex ones read to her. Great topics, from Grandma to school to the kind of toilet humour that children find hilarious. Great way to introduce poetry, as well as help a child learn how to add emphasis to reading - which in turn makes reading seem even more fun. A top buy.

These delightful poems are so wonderful just to pick up and read. I used lots of them when teaching english as a foreign language - the simple rhythm and repetitive consonant sounds were perfect.
