This book gives a very basic understanding of orthopaedics and is probably enough to get by undergrad ortho. However there are a few mistakes and some of the important topics such as OsteoA are not dealt with in enough detail.

To its credit it is beautifully illustrated and more often than not ideas are reinforced with illustrations.

Usefull for a student who simply wants to pass ortho but if you are more interested, I would recomend one of the other similar sized books.

Lists of pathologies but not super detailed especially on talking about pathophysiology
Requires more description. Some pathologies only have slight description.

This product is exactly how I would expect it to be should I have bought it at a high street retailer, only cheaper and I didn't need to leave home to search for it. Would recommend to anyone.

I'm a studying to be an orthopedic nurse specialist and this book gives you all the basic and essential information you'll need. Pictures and graphics are really helpful - I particularly enjoyed studying X-Rays and play find-the-fracture. The case stud's at the end of each chapter help to emphasis the main differences between seemingly similar fractures too. Wouldn't want to miss this book while studying and beyond. Recommended
