good stuff,

This review is from: Essential ABS ("Men's Health" peak conditioning guides) (Paperback)
This is the second copy of this book I've bought - lost the first one in a house move. Gives some very good exercises but as with all these things you really have to put the time in. THink it's good the way it pushes you to do aerobic exercise as well because the reality is that it's no good having a six pack if it's buried under 3 inches of fat.
It is a 6 week programme but he gives you continuation exercises as well. Have the books on Chest and Arms as well and like his style - I'm not an exercise addict but it gives useful techniques that mean you get a workout and build muscle within spending all evening, every evening at the gym. I'd recommend it

Big fan of Mens Health and this book is like the mag, full of easy to follow advice. And it really works. Haven't quite got a six pack but I'll get there!

It makes you work very hard, B.U.T: IT DOES WORK,
This review is from: Essential ABS ("Men's Health" peak conditioning guides) (Paperback)
Well, I have this book for two month and you know what? IT DOES WORK. It makes you work very hard. You start with easy exercises, but when you're getting used to go to the gym more-less regularly (approx. in 3 weeks after you've started the program), Kurt adds more and more difficult ones and then you can't stop, as you see the results and you're becoming very challenged. I think Kurt is a very clever guy and I would go to his classes if I lived in the states.:-) I'm not a gym guru and not mad spending my entire time in there, but three hours a week in the gym really changing your life (sorry for banality). I would suggest to use it in complex with two other books: Essential Chest and Shoulders: An Intense 6-week Program (Men's Health Peak Conditioning Guides) , Essential Abs ("Men's Health" Peak Conditioning Guides) and Essential Arms (Men's Health Peak Conditioning Guides) .
