I bought this following an African Culture Appreciation day and I've been bopping away listening to it. CD 2 and 3 are the better for me, with more bongos etc. To be honest, I wasn't expecting much, but I think I might pick up another Essential Guide now that I've heard this one.

This CD kept coming up on a station I created in Pandora. Couldn't find the album on iTunes, but did find it on Amazon. I bought "Golden Afrique" vols 1, 2 & 3 as well as "The Essentials Guide to Africa". Have really enjoyed the music, shuffled in with my other American music.
