I've remember when i first saw Eartha Kitt, she was being carried on the stage queen-like in a all black cast of the play,Timbuktu. It was quite powerful. This little woman had such a regal presence and command of everything she approached. You believed her, and just like her character in the play, you believe her in this wonderful collections of songs showcasing her career.
Her kittenish vocal stylings never tires you because it's her. It a recognizable quality that's known throughout the world. From the first note,she takes you on that journey, she sings articulatly in some many different languages,it will astound you. She's serious, funny, sexy, authoriative, and passionate.
