this is the first crystal handbook i have bought. the main reasons i chose this one over other crystal books are: the book was recommended on this site and secondly, after going into book shops and taking my time -( much to the annoyance of my kids!)scanning all of the crystal books on the shelf, this one looked the best and most informative book, especially to a novice in crystals and their powers like myself!
the books introduction is about how crystals form, using them with feng shui, using crystals on your chakras and things like the cleansing of crystals amongst other ways of working with crystals. the book then goes on to give information on over 100 crystals including on each page their healing functions,practical ideas, magic and how to care for each specific crystal. a neat sized book, handy to just pop in your bag and an all round companion to either a crystal shop or a mind body spirit event.

I used to think The Crystal Bible by Judy Hall was the most comprehensive crystal book on the market - I was wrong. There's something about this neat little handbook that raises the bar. It may be small, but it is absolutely PACKED with information, beautiful photos and constructive ideas of what to actually do with our crystal and mineral friends.
I've been collecting and working with crystals for 18 years and even though I only bought this book recently, I can honestly say that's already a valued member of my esoteric library. If you're looking for a compact book that covers everything and covers it WELL, you've found the right book.

A great little book which covers many crystals.
i also love the info it gives on healing,chakras,cleansing and working with crystals. Highly recommended
