Beth Kemp studied Modern Languages at the University of Leicester, taking an MA in Gender Studies and Literature at the University of Warwick before training as a teacher.
Most of her teaching career has focused on Secondary English, specifically A Level, and she has developed a specialism in English Language at this level, running a study and revision website originally intended for her own students but soon discovered by students and teachers around the UK. She has enjoyed a wide range of experience teaching adults, sixth formers and secondary pupils in subjects including French, Italian, English and Gender Studies.
Currently, Beth lives in Leicester with her family - which includes dogs, guinea pigs and gerbils - and divides her time between writing and teaching.
