Lightweight and easy to carry, instantly opens out to be a pretty stable seat to sit on when needed. I was looking for a stable seat for those moments when an injured leg decided it had had enough walking. This doesn't double as a walking stick, but probably makes a more solid seat than ones that do.

This product (not really a stick and I am a country lady!) was very useful.
I took it to Windsor Castle when my grandson was taking part in the St George's Day Scout Parade. We parked the car some distance away so I had to keep it with me all day but it was quite lightweight to carry and made a good walking stick.
In the afternoon the family joined the crowds standing in the Quadrangle where most were kept standing in the hot sun for 2 hours. My husband and I took turns to sit on the stool and I found it was quite steady and supported my weight very well. I chose a stool with 4 legs rather than 3 and I am very pleased with it

Bought this for my mum and she loved it! It s far better than the single pole seat you have to balance on when sitting, this is actually a very comfortable sturdy seat and a strong walking aid when being carried, my mum uses hers all the time! Particularly useful at places like chelsea flower show where seating is always limited and sitting on the grass would be ok if mum could get up again! I would definitely recommend this product
