I am a lecturer in Business Economics, and use this book in my MBA classes. There's enough material to get managers to see how economists think, and to apply some of the main concepts to their business. This book alone will never turn managers into economists. However, it might help them to see their business, markets and industry through economists' eyes. This book focuses on the core concepts in economics, without weighing the reader down with excessive technicalities. It might therefore also be useful to non-economists struggling through a microeconomics course using a more conventional textbook, or to the general reader who wants to know what business economics is about. It is a very readable introduction to economics for non-economists.
