I liked this book because it faced the taboo of incest in a teenage world. It also didn't just come out and say it. The way the author wrote it meant that you had to guess what she was talking about, and then at the end it told you. The way she showed the mistrust by teenagers who have been abused was brilliant. Magdelen, running away from her father to the only place she beleived was safe. The way she tried to kill herself and then found hope in Greg, the stranger who gradually gained her trust and helped her to defeat her father. The ending was one of the things that kinda let the book down. It was too neat and tidy as if it couldn't possibly have been that easy, but other than that the whole book was brilliant. I loved it!!!!
