Product Description

When your life, or the life of someone dear to you, is turned upside-down by domestic violence, it can be hard to cope. But you're not alone. In ‘This Morning: Escape Domestic Violence' you will find the support that you're looking for, in a book that gives the unique, treasured This Morning blend of:

practical advice,
emotional comfort
real-life messages of help and hope.

Throughout you will encounter the stories of so many like you, who've been there, who know how you feel - and who found a brighter future.

‘Escape Domestic Violence, is split into five sections to give you the right support at the right time:
1. What to do right now
2. Taking the next steps, taking control
3. Long-term challenges and future hopes
4. Real lives, real life support
5. More help at hand

(REAL NAME)
I bought this book because i thought it would specifically help with me with an action plan on how to actually escape the domestic violence. I was quite disappointed with this book. First of all, it is excessively politically correct and doesn't tell a victim what they don't already don't know. It seems to be a large book with not much text and lots of repeated information and telephone numbers. I thought this book would have had a lot more real life escape stories and more information on how to mentally and physically prepare to escape domestic violence. How disappointing! If you want to educate yourself and read a brilliant book then I suggest: Living with the Dominator: A Book About the Freedom Programme: 1
