The nature of the subject matter in the tome does dictate that much of it has been kept secret for years. I thought I knew a bit about WWII until I picked this up.
This book is divided into neat chapters, many of which do interlink with each other.
The author seems keen to also represent a human angle in addition to merely giving out facts & figures, which could have been done by using a chart. An entertaining read.
The only drawback, it can be lacking in pace, and doesn't exactly read like a Frederick Forsyth - but then again, what else does?
