Firstly, I got the Premium Edition at a great price. If you're thinking of spending loads more on it rather than stick with the 'Standard Edition' - don't. It's nice to have the fancy booklet and the extras on the CD, but they're definitely not essentials. You'll read the bookelt once, think it's quite interesting and never look at it again. Trust me.
The CD, on the other hand, should make its way onto your player more than you might expect. The vocals are silky and sublime, if a tad overproduced at times, but the real strength of the album lies in its catchy brand of European pop. At times it's reminscent of Air, often reminding me of Cafe del Mar offerings only with more of a beat, other tracks being light poppy electronica with some sense of emotion. As someone who only has a vague understanding of Deutsch, the lyrics don't mean much to me apart from the odd line, so lyrically I can't comment. But the album get played pretty often despite this, so it obviously doesn't rely on great lyrics to be a fun and popular listen.
Favourite tracks - Wolken Ziehen Vorbei is a great opener to the album, but Wir Sind Die Anderen... is probably my favourite since it gets in my head. In fact there's only one track I end up skipping on the album and that's Oben - considering there's 14 decent length tracks on here that's fairly impressive!
Es Wird Morgen is rather relaxing in a sense, but equally it's upbeat enough to make it a good summer evening record. I like driving to it too. If you're feeling mildly adventurous (and you do only have to be mildly adventurous since it's rather good) then I'd definitely recommend this.

Tolle Musik! Smooth and mature, but still upbeat and fun Euro-chic 8 April 2010

I found this group listening to my "Klee" station on Last.fm, which might give you some idea of 2raumwohnung's sound. Picture a cross between the smoother aspects of Goldfrapp combined with a more upbeat version of Ivy. Kind of dancy, kind of dream pop, with more alternative and creative arrangements than either straight pop or dance. A blend of electronica and acoustica, it's smooth and soothing while still being upbeat and fun, with a very clean European feel. These are all very subjective impressions, I know, so suffice it to say that I find it to be a really interesting and highly enjoyable album, one of my happier music finds of the last couple of years. Be forewarned that the album is sung entirely in German, but that shouldn't prevent non-German speakers from enjoying Inga Humpe's honey voice and the overall great melodies and arrangements.

German Vocals as Modern Day Soma 22 July 2007

This is the kind of kick-back music you play when you're lying in bed in the middle of a weekday watching the work world run around like crazy outside your window. At least that's what I feel especially when I listen to "Die Anderen". It's calm and playful.
