I have to admit I wasn't really expecting much from this, but the reviews seemed good so I bought it and, in a rather cynical frame of mind, began to read. I was a little surprised to find that seven hours later I'd read the whole thing and had missed a couple of meals. There is certainly enough well written erotica to keep those who are only interested in that sort of thing involved but I found myself pulled in by the actual story and enthralled by the alternative and feminist views of the author regarding the origins of a lot of our accepted religious views. I would recommend this book, well written and nicely plotted the characters stay with you and you find yourself trying to work out what the 'hell' is going on. There were also a couple of characters mentioned in passing that I would certainly like to know more about, maybe poppet has already given us their stories? I will now have to go and find out.
