Unerotic and repetitive 30 April 2010

I do a fair amount of erotic and fetish photography, and I get good feedback from the folks I shoot, and high ratings where they appear. But this book was very very disappointing, it looks like it was taken ages ago, and the pictures are very repetitive in style and lighting and pose, so overall I was quite underwhelmed.

This book lives up to its title. With a strong fetish and bdsm element, it depicts a multitude of the most 'interesting' situations all photographed in ways that bring out the model's personalities whether they be submissive or dominating in nature.
The only downside is the page sizes are a little small, and some images are printed many to a page in a thumbnail style.

I really like Jean Paul's photos. They are usually tasteful, but sometimes border on a little pornographic. The dramatic lighting is fantastic and he makes the best of his models. As a photographer, there are many elements of his style which I admire and try to emulate.
