I'm a big M&W fan, but this book has been somewhat let down by the publisher. The contents are okayish - a refreshing, and very open foreword by Miranda Hart. But most of the photos are of a similar time frame, and they are integrated as opposed to gloss (though there are some gloss ones in here). It's not too bad - probably worth having if you are a collector - but not as good as previous books such Eric Morecambe: Unseen, by William Cook, which had such an expensive, glossy finish throughout.

The book was definately not as good it was made out to be. The book content was not as funny or entertaining as the review we read had said it would be. The font size was enormous and book was read in a very short time. Definately not value for money.

I love Morecambe and Wise and this book I really enjoyed! Miranda Hart's forward actually made me tear up... beautifully written and also her amazing opportunity I wish could have been me too! haha. People's stories about Eric were funny and soo lovely, I wish I could have met him! and the wonderfully talented Ernie also.
