I guess good things often are expensive.

High quality product in all aspects - materials, design, packaging.

Easy to fit.

Works very well for me because my hands are prone to cramp and these grips prevent that.

Incredibly Comfortable Grip w/infinite Adjustment 11 Jun. 2010
By James H. Lui - Published on Amazon.com
Okay - they're pricey. I tend to get numbed out hands very quickly (MTB - Trek 800 88 vintage). I commute about 10 miles to/from work. Tried many different gel grips with Pearl Izumi Gel gloves. When I tried this at my local sporting goods store, it felt immediately like it wasn't even there. Perfect ergonomics. My 800 has the older shallow U style bars with a small pull-back.

Plus because you don't use adhesive to attach them, the well-designed clamping mechanism allows continual adjustment of both the palm rest positioning and the outrigger lever (which is independent of the palm rest portion).

No vibrations come through at all when combined with the Pearl gloves. Made riding a pleasure again - and preventing CTS in the process. Easily worth the price - especially for the great engineering design!

Good product; large isn't really *large* 6 Dec. 2010

The grips are very good. I'm glad that I opted for the "large" size. My hands just barely met the spec for large, according to the Ergon product web site. I think I'd be disappointed if I had truly large hands. The grips resolved my issues of -- wrist, elbow, shoulder -- stress on long rides. Excellent product, early delivery, good installation guide in the package.

Trikke Rider 17 Feb. 2010

I installed these grips on my Trikke T-78 Air. First, they were very easy to install and the fine tuning adjustments were easy. The GC2 reduces hand fatigue because you don't have to squeeze them as you do the stock foam handles. The large palm area adds additional support and the hook end keeps your hands where they should be automatically making for a very relaxed ride. As a bonus, they look good too! I would recommend these grips for all Trikkers.

Avoid Ulnar Nerve injury 9 Nov. 2010

put these grips on my MTB and even though I usually stick to pavement/bike trails, the grip extensions are nice to vary your hand position, used to have a problem with ulnar nerve irritation now it is gone, probably a little much for what they are but they are well made and worth it to me.
Ergon GC2 Grip 23 July 2010

I have had carpal tunnel for many years and my hands would tingle and go numb after a few miles of riding (mountain biking), and when someone mentioned these grips, I checked into them and decided to give them a try. I bought the small size and find them perfect for mountain biking. My hands are at the right angle all the time and the small end-bars give some protection from brush, etc. I seem to have more control in steering and, even though my hands still get tired, it's not the early going numb anymore. I would recommend these to anyone with carpal tunnel who still want to ride!
