When you have 2 member from the Noway prog/black/death metal band Borknagar, there are bound to be some similarities.
This is a 2 man project with programmed drums, with this being their 3rd album together.

Simply if you like Borknagar, the music is not too far away from them at all, I mean if you played this to me blind and told me it was Borknagar, I would not give you any arguments.

Well crafted 11 Dec 2013

Cronian is a 2 man project by Oystein Brun and Andres Hedlund (Mr V) They have connections with other bands. This is their 3rd album ,eight tracks, 49 minutes. The band is described as being an "Avant-Garde progressive metal band". I would describe the album as being symphonic, melodic, with a large sound stage. All the tracks are well crafted with rhythm changes and great vocals. I've listened to the album several times and enjoy it more each time. It's a change of pace from what I usually listen to ( death, war, grind core and thrash.) Would I buy it again after hearing it? Yes. If you would like to expand your metal collection to something a little different, and well done, buy it. It was released in Nov. of 2013
