This book is great for veterinarians, equine degree students and horse owners alike. From supplementation to indepth digestion knowledge - a great encyclopaedia of knowledge on the horse! This is a must buy for all horse enthusiasts

Having not yet had time to fully get to grips with this book but whilst browsing, content seems thorough and draws in a variety of concepts. I get the feeling it does what it says on the tin.

More technical journal than textbook

Nutrition may be a fairly dull topic as it is, but this book makes it almost insufferable. It provides absolute no context for any of the information contained it it's long, dry chapters, and fails to accomplish anything but making your eyes glaze over. Do not buy.

We are using this book for an equine nutrition class. This book is extremely hard book to follow and read and I do not recommend it for anyone who is looking for good practical information.
